US Tax Associate

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a US Tax Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting tax forms, tracking client paperwork, preparing tax returns, and producing tax reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project deliverables and client engagements.
  • Prepare and self-review all types of tax returns.
  • Assist experienced associates drive deliverables.
  • Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions.
  • Manage and maintain the company's tax database.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes related to taxes.
  • Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or Master's degree in accounting with US taxation experience.
  • Inter CA, CA, CPA, or EA (Enrolled Agent) certification preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive approach to accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks and other US accounting systems.
  • Proficiency in intermediate Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
