The Junior Instructional Designer Role
- Transform content into engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Develop storyboards in PowerPoint or authoring tools like Storyline based on source content for various projects.
- Ideate and design engaging learning activities (Interactivities, Gamification, etc.) for enhanced retention of content.
- Apply instructional design models (ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, etc.) to craft learner-centric content.
- Visualise instructional graphics and work with graphic designers for their implementation.
- Create supporting materials like audio scripts, additional resources, games, scenarios, etc.
- Collaborate with SMEs, designers, and developers to create high-impact learning solutions.
- Brainstorm and develop creative concepts for video marketing solutions that effectively communicate complex ideas.
- Work with global clients across industries like technology, healthcare, manufacturing, and finance to design customized training solutions.
- Conduct self and peer reviews of deliverables.
- Ensure deliverables meet standard quality at all stages of the projects.
- Ensure deadlines are met as per project plans.
- Contribute in other areas like newsletters, social media posts, instructional research, etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Exceptional communication skills
- Proficient in English
- Strong writing skills with experience in content writing, copywriting, or technical writing
- Knowledge of instructional design theories & applications
- A strong drive to learn and implement trending skills and concepts in the industry
- The capability to extract key insights from projects and share knowledge when required
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Google Drive
- Strong analytical thinking and a strategic approach to problem-solving
- A creative mindset with the ability to simplify complex concepts
Eligibility Criteria
- 0 - 2 year(s) of experience in Instructional Design/ Content Writer
- PhD/Master's/Bachelor's degree in any domain (An aggregate of 60% throughout academic career devoid of backlogs)
