Music Instructor Position OverviewJob Title: Music Instructor

About the Role:

This position involves teaching music to students of various skill levels.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging music curricula, communicating effectively with diverse groups of students and teachers, motivating and inspiring students to achieve their musical goals, evaluating student performance, and providing constructive feedback.

In addition, the instructor will conduct group and individual lessons as needed, prepare students for performances, select suitable music pieces, and create a supportive and fun learning environment.

The selected candidate will also stay updated on new teaching methods and integrate them into the curriculum.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach music to students of various skill levels.
  • Develop and implement engaging music curriculum.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse group of students and teachers.
  • Motivate and inspire students to achieve their musical goals.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Conduct group and individual lessons as needed.
  • Prepare students for performances, selecting suitable music pieces.
  • Create a supportive and fun learning environment.
  • Stay updated on new teaching methods and integrate them into the curriculum.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Music or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
  • 3–4 years of relevant teaching experience.
  • Proven ability to train students for performances.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Energetic, creative, dependable, and passionate about music education.
  • Demonstrates patience, leadership, and the ability to inspire students.
