Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Management Expert to support the design management and coordination of several hotel projects in India and abroad. The successful candidate will manage the appointment of the design team, lead the design process, and work closely with our cost management team to ensure timely delivery and budget adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design Coordination: Oversee the design process, ensuring seamless communication and coordination among stakeholders.
  2. Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors to issue shop drawing lists, manage receipt of design documentation, and lead reviews and approval processes.
  3. Change Management: Identify and flag changes to designs, ensuring stakeholders are aware and aligned.
  4. Quality Management: Collaborate with PMs and Construction Managers to explain design intent, conduct quality checks, and ensure compliance with approved designs.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/B. Arch or Equivalent: With experience in site coordination of construction trades.
  • Minimum 8 Years' Experience: In design or project management, preferably with end-to-end hotel or high-end fit-out project completion experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and ability to create reports and meeting minutes.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, able to lead international, multidisciplinary teams and develop constructive relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Good Planning and Organizational Skills: Ability to schedule and coordinate various design activities seamlessly.
  • Analytical Mindset: Sharp analytical mind with good problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of Hotel/High-End Fit-Out Projects: Good understanding of design disciplines, construction sequencing, and coordination processes.

Salary:** ₹12 LPA (approximately $15,500 USD per annum)
