About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled engineer to lead the development of physical design solutions, utilizing industry-leading tools and methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of full-chip design, including placement, routing, clock tree synthesis, and signal integrity analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute independent planning and execution of all aspects of physical design
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Participate in all stages of the design process, from floor planning to physical verification
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in physical design technologies

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • 4+ years of experience in ASIC physical design
  • Excellent knowledge of EDA tools and flows, including Fusion compiler-based RTL2GDS flow
  • Strong automation skills in PERL, TCL, and other scripting languages
  • Experience with lower-tech node layout verification and rule files (DRC, LVS, ERC, PERC)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
