Senior Business Development Manager

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual who can leverage their expertise in business development, sales, and customer relationships to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the market.

  1. Lead revenue generation and pipeline development from key public sector accounts and territories;

  2. Manage client relationships from end-to-end as part of the sales process;

  3. Research new market opportunities and clients - contact potential clients to establish networks, arrange meetings, and support customer outreach to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs;

  4. Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other methods;

  5. Develop an in-depth knowledge of business products and value propositions;

  6. Prepare approach notes and proposal documents - translate client-provided information into clear program objectives and learning outcomes, support program documentation, and create knowledge collaterals;

  7. Communicate effectively with stakeholders on all program management and business development-related queries, facilitate discussions with clients to elaborate on proposed improvements;

Key Responsibilities and % Time Spent:
Revenue generation/orders booked - 30%
Contacting potential clients to establish network, arrange meetings and support in customer outreach - Lead generation and customer outreach - 30%
Prepare pitch decks, proposals and for all client related engagements - 20%
Communicate effectively with stakeholders on all their Program Management and business development related queries - Facilitate discussions with the client to elaborate on the areas of proposed improvements - 10%
Database and knowledge creation and management - 10%

Qualifications Include a Master's degree in business administration or education or a related discipline, experience in curriculum design and blended learning, MS Office, and excellent analytical and diagnostic skills.
