We are seeking an experienced and skilled engineer to join our team in Hosur, India. As a Senior Brake Control Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and validating brake control systems for rail vehicles.

Estimated Salary: ₹ 15-20 lakhs per annum

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering or mechatronics, with a minimum of 8-12 years of experience in the rail industry. Prior knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic brake systems is an added advantage.

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing feasibility analyses and developing 3D/2D concepts
  • Ensuring adherence to product development cycles
  • Managing product-level requirements and compliance
  • Conducting design reviews and preparing DFMECA
  • Collaborating with RAMS teams for FTA, safety, reliability, and LCC assessments
  • Preparing validation plans, specifications, and reports
  • Understanding design principles and standardization
  • Improving product reliability and reducing lifecycle costs
  • Ensuring compliance with global standards and applications

You will work closely with our global product teams and travel to the field for installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
