Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and deploying cutting-edge machine learning models for various computer vision tasks. This includes designing and implementing end-to-end pipelines, ensuring best practices in code quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Learning Models: Develop and implement machine learning models for computer vision tasks, including image processing, object detection, object tracking, and video analysis.Data Analysis: Design and build robust end-to-end pipelines for data collection, cleaning, and analysis to solve complex business problems.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision solutions into production environments.Data Visualization: Perform data analysis and visualizations to uncover patterns and provide actionable insights for decision-making.Code Quality: Ensure code quality, maintainability, and best practices in model deployment and integration.Tech Updates: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in machine learning and computer vision technologies.Cloud Technologies: Utilize cloud technologies and big data solutions (Kafka) where applicable to improve model performance and scalability.Team Leadership: Ability to guide and mentor team members, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 3-4 Years of Experience: 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in data science with a strong focus on computer vision.
  • Python Expertise: Expertise in Python, including data structures and algorithms (DSA).
  • Libraries Knowledge: Proficient in libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
  • Machine Learning Frameworks: Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
  • Strong Understanding: Strong understanding of ML and DL concepts, and their application in computer vision.
  • Computer Vision Tasks: Hands-on experience in core computer vision tasks such as object detection, object tracking, image segmentation, image classification, feature extraction, face recognition, video analysis, motion detection, event detection, and frame-by-frame processing.
  • Image Processing: Strong proficiency in image processing techniques such as filtering, thresholding, morphological operations, and image transformations.
  • Large-Scale Datasets: Experience working with large-scale datasets, annotating images, and creating datasets for training computer vision models.
  • Model Evaluation Metrics: Strong understanding of model evaluation metrics for computer vision (e.g., IoU, mAP, precision, recall).
  • Database Knowledge: Strong database knowledge and familiarity with version control tools such as GitHub.
  • Containerization: Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker is an added advantage.
  • Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of cloud platforms and big data technologies (Kafka) is a plus.
  • Edge Computing: Exposure to Edge Computing and deploying models on devices like Jetson or Raspberry Pi for real-time CV applications is a plus.
