Job Overview

The Plant IT Pharma specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless IT system operation within the manufacturing plant. This involves managing local infrastructure, collaborating with central IT teams, and implementing cybersecurity protocols to safeguard sensitive data.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing all IT operations at the manufacturing plant, guaranteeing alignment with corporate IT standards and regulatory requirements.
  2. Providing GxP-compliant support for manufacturing systems (MES, LIMS, SCADA, etc.) and ensuring proper documentation and validation protocols are followed.
  3. Acting as the primary IT contact for plant and quality assurance teams.
  4. Supporting audits and inspections by regulatory bodies (FDA, EMA, etc.) by providing required documentation and demonstrating compliance.
  5. Managing local infrastructure (servers, networks, desktops, printers) and coordinating with central IT teams for enterprise-level support.
  6. Implementing and monitoring cybersecurity protocols in the plant environment.
  7. Coordinating the rollout of new IT systems and upgrades while ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing operations.
  8. Maintaining and updating IT SOPs in compliance with GxP standards.
  9. Collaborating with vendors and third-party service providers for support and maintenance of plant systems.
  10. Training and supporting end-users on relevant IT systems and best practices.

Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with 3+ years of IT experience and strong knowledge of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
