Language Specialist Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Language Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and editing linguistically-rich content, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of accuracy and quality.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Create or edit grammar guides, syntactic analyses, usage explanations, and examples for natural language processing (NLP) pipelines.
  • Identify and address issues related to ambiguity, bias, and grammatical accuracy in language data.
  • Perform quality assurance on artificial intelligence (AI) model outputs to ensure fluency, tone, factual correctness, and contextual appropriateness.
  • Annotate linguistic datasets with syntactic, semantic, or pragmatic labels to improve language understanding.
  • Support internal teams with linguistic research and summarized insights to inform business decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of linguistic theory and language structures, including phonology, morphology, syntax, and semantics.
  • Experience in computational linguistics, corpus analysis, data annotation, or large language model training is highly valued.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
