**Executive Chef Position Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our team as an Executive Sous Chef. This role offers the opportunity to embark on an unforgettable journey of luxury and contribute to exceptional hospitality.

Responsibilities
  • Culinary Leadership: Develop and update departmental SOP manuals, detailing standards of performance, policies, and procedures for efficient kitchen operations in accordance with hotel policies, standards, and municipality requirements.
  • Menu Development: Work closely with senior culinary teams to develop new menus and products supported by detailed analysis and accurate costing.
  • Food Safety Management: Ensure high-level food safety management and adherence to HACCP in the department.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Oversee effective food promotions, work closely with the executive steward to ensure kitchen areas are clean and orderly, and manage cleanliness of departmental areas.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Knowledge of F&B Services: Maintain complete knowledge of all F&B services, contents, preparation methods, outlets, and hotel services features.
  • Hotel Fire and Life Safety Procedures: Apply necessary precautions regarding hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) and be well-versed in hotel fire, life safety emergency procedures.
  • Performance and Accountability: Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing food production and culinary operations in a hotel gained from working in key cities, resorts, and destinations globally.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma from a reputable Hospitality Management or Culinary school
  • Additional certifications in Food and Beverage
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language, and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
