Firewall Security Architect Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Firewall Security Architect to design and implement secure firewall architectures using Palo Alto Networks firewalls.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Firewalls: Utilize Palo Alto Networks firewalls to create and deploy secure firewall architectures, ensuring enterprise-wide protection against cyber threats.
  • Administer and Support Firewalls: Manage and support large-scale firewall systems, including policy tuning and threat mitigation strategies.
  • Deploy and Configure PAN VM-Series Firewalls: Lead the deployment and configuration of PAN VM-Series firewalls using Flex licensing models, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Manage IDS/IPS Signature Updates: Oversee the management of IDS/IPS signature updates, URL filtering, VPN services, and DNS security measures.
  • Conduct Firewall Rule Audits: Conduct thorough audits of firewall rules and generate compliance reports to ensure regulatory adherence.

Required Qualifications:

  • Network Security Experience: 5-10 years of experience in network security and firewall management, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
  • Palo Alto Networks Expertise: Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama, with a focus on optimizing security performance.
  • Cloud Security Knowledge: Experience working with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud security frameworks, ensuring seamless scalability and adaptability.
  • DNS Security and Bot Protection: In-depth knowledge of DNS security, bot protection, and endpoint detection systems, with a focus on preventing cyber threats.
  • Aviatrix Transit Network Experience: Familiarity with Aviatrix Transit Network and cloud routing strategies is a plus, with a focus on enhancing overall network resilience.
