Database Administrator Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting database operations, including performance monitoring, query optimization, code deployments, access management, and database analysis.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support ongoing database re-platforming efforts to Exadata.
• Review and implement data loading scripts related to Golden Gate data replication.
• Optimize and tune SQL queries and indexes in Oracle.
• Develop strong knowledge of Oracle 12c/Oracle 19c/Exadata capabilities and functionality.
• Improve programming skills using PL/SQL (package, procedures, functions, triggers).
• Enhance performance tuning skills using SQL Trace, Explain Plan, Indexing, and Hints.
• Maintain expertise in Oracle architecture.
• Monitor database performance related to memory usage, backups, active sessions, long-running queries, tablespace configuration, and space allocations.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in logical and physical DBA roles, including Oracle Exadata.
• Extensive knowledge of database data movement and processing, including Golden Gate and Informatica ETL.
• Familiarity with JIRA workflow processes and agile methodology.
• Working experience with TOAD or Oracle SQL Developer.
• Strong communication and self-motivation skills.
