Financial Technology Motion Graphics Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Visual Storyteller to join our team and help translate complex financial concepts into compelling visual narratives. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your creative skills and technical expertise to craft engaging motion graphics that effectively communicate product value proposition and brand personality to various audiences.
Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop concepts that align with user needs and business objectives, creating storyboards that translate complex financial technology concepts into clear, compelling visual narratives, and presenting and justifying your visual approaches to stakeholders.
You will also be responsible for producing polished 2D/2.5D motion graphics, kinetic typography, and UI animations that demonstrate financial product workflows, creating short product demos that highlight feature functionality in a B2B SaaS context, and developing animations that enhance user understanding of data visualization and complex financial processes.
In addition, you will develop consistent animation systems, templates, and design tokens that enhance the product user experience, create micro-interactions that improve usability and provide visual feedback in the interface, and collaborate with product designers to ensure animations support rather than distract from core functionality.
Furthermore, you will ensure all animations adhere to established brand guidelines while evolving our motion language, develop a consistent motion style that reinforces our position as a trusted financial technology partner, and create animations that convey precision, security, and reliability – critical attributes for financial software.
You will work effectively with product designers and engineers to implement animations in web and mobile applications, provide Lottie/JSON exports with proper documentation for developer implementation, and create organized asset libraries and style guides for consistent implementation.
Additionally, you will deliver properly sized and optimized files for various platforms, maintain an accessible library of motion assets, source files, and templates, and ensure animations perform efficiently across various devices and platforms.
Finally, you will manage multiple concurrent projects with different stakeholders and timelines, incorporate feedback efficiently and track versions using project management tools, and analyze asset performance metrics to continuously improve engagement and conversion.
