Job Description:

The role of an Intern - 2D Art at our studio involves working alongside experienced artists to create captivating visuals for mobile games. This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to various aspects of the art creation process, from concept art to final assets, and develop your skills in creating high-quality 2D art assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation of characters, environments, props, and UI elements.
  • Collaborate with the art team to maintain a consistent visual style and aesthetic across games.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to enhance the visual experience of our games.
  • Work closely with game designers, animators, and developers to ensure that art assets meet technical requirements.
  • Develop concept art and sketches to visualize ideas and iterate on designs.
  • Perform quality assurance on art assets to ensure they meet our standards and are consistent with the game's style.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques in 2D art and apply this knowledge to your work.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Animation, or a related field.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your 2D art skills, including character design, environment design, and UI elements.
  • Foundational skills in storytelling through pose and composition.
  • Proficiency in digital inking and rendering techniques.
  • Basics of concept art, illustration, and design.
  • Familiarity with software such as Photoshop, Maya, and Max.
  • Passion for games and willingness to grow within the industry.
  • Excellent communication skills.
