Software Engineering Leadership

As a key member of an agile development team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and delivering market-leading technology products.

The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise and leadership skills to guide the team towards achieving strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities include providing technical guidance, developing high-quality code, and reviewing code written by others.

The successful candidate will also serve as a subject matter expert and influence peers and project decision-makers to consider leading-edge technologies.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • 5+ years experience in software engineering concepts with formal training or certification.
  • Experience leading teams of technologists and guiding them towards achieving goals aligned against strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to coach and develop talent, deliver system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines.
  • Proficiency in Java/J2EE, REST APIs, Web Services, Micro Services, Kafka streaming, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and AWS Services.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security.
  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets like GIT, JIRA, Maven.
