Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions. This includes working under the supervision of a team leader and performing administrative tasks.

Key Accountabilities
  • Strategic Focus:
  • Provide exceptional service to clients, stakeholders and internal teams by meeting set standards.
  • Complete daily processing within agreed timeframes.
  • Operational Management:
  • Provide exceptional service to clients, employers and members by meeting set standards.
  • Process and complete all operations administratively.
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative, financial and fund specific procedures to minimize any risk to the business.
  • Quality review work to minimize rework of tasks and maintain high quality standards.
  • Ensure the quality and productivity standards are met.
  • Complete all transactions across funds as required.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve enquiries.
  • Complete adjustments and investigations as appropriate and as instructed.
  • Participate as a positive member of the team by cooperating with others to achieve team goals.
Governance & Risk
  • Comply with company policies, core values and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative, financial and fund specific procedures to minimize any risk to the business.
  • Create and maintain Business Process Manuals and develop training materials.

Requirements

  • 3-5 Years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Good understanding of relevant Superannuation legislation.
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office and other software packages.
  • Previous administration skills in data entry / high volume type roles, ideally in a financial service industry.
  • Accuracy and high attention to detail.
  • Possess effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Generate creative solutions to address problems and commit to follow through.
  • Sound knowledge of technical and compliance issues, understanding the relevant policies and legislation.
