About This Role:

The Senior Accountant will oversee the accounting function, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role requires domain expertise, leadership skills, and financial discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the accounting team and manage the end-to-end accounting process.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closings of books of accounts.
  • Ensure statutory compliance including GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Income Tax, and other applicable laws.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and budgets for management.
  • Manage relationships with auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor cash flow and working capital.
  • Establish internal controls and improve accounting processes.
  • Provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in finance.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliances.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
