Job Description

This role is for a senior software engineer to lead server-side development and drive technical innovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web applications, system development, and modern web technologies, with a passion for software development and a proven ability to lead and manage technical teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop high-performance, scalable solutions using a variety of frameworks and technologies.
  • Design and implement efficient HTML/CSS and optimize mobile environments.
  • Implement web services and serialization techniques like REST and JSON.
  • Utilize caching mechanisms and tools such as Memcache and nginx.
  • Create quick technology solutions using Shell/Python scripting.
  • Take full responsibility and ownership of the team's work, ensuring project success.
  • Effectively manage both internal and external technical teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in PHP-based web applications and Java-based system development.
  • In-depth knowledge of LAMP, Linux/UNIX-based development, SQL databases, Apache/nginx, and client-side JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Expertise in web application frameworks like Play, Spring, Yii, CakePHP, CodeIgniter, or Zend.
  • Knowledge of Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs) and their utility.
  • Strong command of efficient HTML/CSS and experience with web services and serialization techniques.
  • Expertise in caching mechanisms and tools and scripting experience in Shell/Python.
  • Prior expertise with AWS Cloud, CDNs, and other PaaS-based services.
  • Hands-on exposure to TCP/IP socket-based programming and protocol implementation.
  • Strong penchant for Object-Oriented Design and experience with version control, bug tracking, and continuous integration software.
  • Prior experience with Agile software methodologies and strong skills in DynamoDB, AWS, and MongoDB.
