Job Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled writer to combine their knowledge of medical science with creative writing skills. As a Medical Writer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality materials that showcase your understanding of complex scientific concepts in an engaging and accessible way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create client-ready scientific, medical, and educational materials such as slides, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and infographics.
  • Liaise with international pharmaceutical clients, healthcare professionals, and internal stakeholders to build trusting relationships and ensure effective communication.
  • Communicate proactively with team members, authors/faculty, clients, and vendors to meet project deadlines and deliver exceptional results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and developments by attending workshops/seminars/trainings and contributing to organizational objectives.
  • Evaluate and ensure all materials comply with client requirements, SOPs, style guides, and CACTUS' internal SOPs.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in relevant fields of scientific writing.
  • PhD/MD (Pharmacology) OR PhD (Life Sciences) OR PharmD with a good understanding of clinical research and medical communication.
  • Clear, concise, scientific style of writing, with a high level of attention to detail and excellent language skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with clients.
  • Ability to adapt writing style to different materials and target audiences.
  • Basic knowledge of biostatistics.
  • Literature reviewing and evaluation capabilities.
  • Very good working knowledge of MS Office.
