Job Overview

We seek a highly skilled finance professional with expertise in accounting, compliance, and budgeting to oversee financial operations. This leader will ensure regulatory adherence, manage accounting processes, internal controls, and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management & Analysis

Oversight of financial statements and reports preparation and consolidation, including annual budgeting process leadership and detailed financial forecasts preparation.

Accounting & Compliance

Day-to-day accounting operations management, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll, as well as timely tax filings, audits, and compliance with relevant laws and standards.

Financial Models & Planning

Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and forecasting efforts, as well as strategic planning initiatives, including tracking financial performance against budget and providing recommendations for cost control and process improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • 4-5 years of overall experience in financial management and accounting, preferably in an educational institution setting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS), and financial reporting requirements.
  • Previous experience managing audits and tax reporting processes.
  • Excellent skills in Excel and ERP / technology tools.
