Woodworking Artisan

As a skilled Furniture Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and stylish furniture pieces that meet the needs of our global markets. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop new concepts, analyze market trends, and refine your designs to ensure they are commercially viable.

• Create original furniture designs using solid wood (Mango, Oak, Acacia, Teak) aligned with our manufacturing strengths.
• Conduct market research through past sales data, social media, and international market trends to inform your design decisions.
• Develop production-ready drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar CAD tools.
• Collaborate with merchandising and sourcing teams to translate your concepts into viable collections.
• Work with prototyping teams to refine joinery, finishes, ergonomics, and structural integrity.

• 2+ years of experience in furniture design, preferably in solid wood.
• Strong skills in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, Rhino, etc.).
• Knowledge of global furniture trends, ergonomics, finishing techniques, and joinery.
• Ability to translate abstract research into commercially viable designs.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
