Supply Chain Strategist

The Procurement Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services for infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop procurement strategies aligned with project requirements to drive operational efficiency and savings.
- Evaluate and select vendors/suppliers based on quality, pricing, and reliability criteria.
- Negotiate contracts and terms to optimize value and minimize risk.
- Monitor inventory levels, logistics, and material delivery schedules to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation, records, and reports to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards governing procurement practices.
- Collaborate with project managers and site teams to forecast material needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in procurement with a focus on construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills to drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Proficiency in ERP/procurement software systems to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex procurement scenarios.
