Job Title: Renal Therapist

A skilled Renal Therapist is required to provide high-quality care to patients in need of dialysis treatment. The successful candidate will have the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and communicate complex information to patients and their families.

• Setting up and operating dialysis machines to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Collecting and assessing patient charts and vital signs to identify potential issues and develop effective treatment plans.
• Monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment to detect any adverse reactions or complications.
• Priming dialyzers and bloodlines for dialysis procedures and ensuring accurate record-keeping of patient data.
• Cleaning and sterilizing dialysis machines and equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families about kidney disease, dialysis treatment, and lifestyle adjustments.
• Coordinating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
• Ordering and maintaining necessary supplies for dialysis procedures and adhering to biomedical waste disposal protocols.

• Demonstrated knowledge of dialysis treatment and care principles.
• Understanding of safety and sanitation standards and procedures.
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage emergency situations effectively.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience as a Dialysis Technician, be certified in dialysis treatment, and possess at least one year of experience in a similar role.
