Job Title: ServiceNow ITOM Specialist
- Key Responsibilities: We are seeking a highly skilled ITOM specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow Discovery patterns, probes, and sensors to accurately discover IT infrastructure components.The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing and configuring Service Mapping to automatically create and update relationships between Configuration Items (CIs). Additionally, they will configure and optimize ServiceNow Event Management to consolidate events from various monitoring tools. Furthermore, the successful candidate will ensure the integrity and accuracy of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) by designing and implementing robust CI classes, identifiers, and reconciliation rules.
Key requirements for this position include:
- Detailed knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM modules, including Discovery, Event Management, and CMDB.
- Experience with scripting languages, such as JavaScript, and familiarity with Flow Designer and Business Rules.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues related to Discovery, Event Management, CMDB, and integrations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with IT Operations, development teams, and stakeholders.
- Able to deploy, configure, and maintain MID Servers to facilitate communication between ServiceNow and various IT infrastructure components.
- Familiarity with third-party monitoring tools and experience with integrating them into ServiceNow ITOM modules.
