We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Backup Specialist to join our team at Netweb Technologies India Ltd. in Mumbai.
This is a full-time position requiring 4-7 years of experience in backup engineering within data centers.
The successful candidate will have expertise in backup tools and tape libraries, with a strong knowledge of Veritas, Veeam, Commvault, and Networker.
Responsibilities include configuring and managing backup solutions for regular data backups, troubleshooting issues related to backup jobs and tape libraries, testing backup and recovery processes, and maintaining documentation of backup procedures and recovery plans.
Additionally, the Data Center Backup Specialist will collaborate with IT teams on data protection initiatives, monitor backup systems for performance and capacity, and implement security protocols for data backups.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and relevant certifications.
