Senior Technical Architect

We are seeking a seasoned senior technical architect to lead our infrastructure engineering efforts. This role will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and oversight of our systems engineering, cloud engineering, and other key infrastructure technologies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To drive engineering excellence with a focus on automation and the adoption of cloud native technologies to modernise our infrastructure.
  • To build and develop India engineering and operations capabilities alongside global leads.
  • To focus on evolving our architecture for scalability, resilience, security, and cost optimisation.

About You:

  • You have at least 15 years of experience in systems engineering, cloud engineering, and other key infrastructure technologies.
  • You have strong expertise in public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises infrastructure at an enterprise level.
  • You possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to build teams and lead large teams.
  • You can work effectively across multiple stakeholders in a matrix environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • You have a passion for staying current with emerging technologies.

Key Skills:

  • Strong expertise in Systems Engineering (Linux, Windows, Storage).
  • Proficient in automation technologies and concepts surrounding distributed systems, including auto scaling, resiliency, and performance.
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies (serverless, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent understanding of fundamental infrastructure technologies including networking, databases, server.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools (e.g IaC).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 20 years of experience engineering and architecting infrastructure across different types of application stacks from monolith to cloud native solutions.
  • Experience working and influencing across cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes.
  • Experience driving major cloud migration programs and major application modernisation programs with the ability to stay hands-on and help drive the technical programme elements.
