Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Medical Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing high-quality scientific, medical, and educational materials, including MSL/training slide decks, infographics, congress and meetings materials, literature searches and reviews, standard response letters/medical information letters, and HCP engagement content according to client and audience needs with excellent attention to detail.

You will review and supervise deliverables from junior writers and provide constructive feedback. Additionally, you will mentor and train junior writers by sharing best practices and client preferences. You will maintain excellent product/account knowledge for client interactions and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

You will advise clients on strategic plans and content improvements. You will participate in client pitches and business development. Effective communication with team members and clients is crucial for success in this role.

This position requires a PhD/MD in medicine, life sciences, health sciences, pharmacy, pharmacology; MPharm/MSc with a good understanding of clinical research and medical communication. Seven to ten years of experience in writing and reviewing Scientific/Medical Communications for Medical Affairs or biopharma, preferably in an agency setting, is required.

The ideal candidate has clear, concise scientific writing with strong attention to detail and language skills. They should have the ability to interpret, evaluate, and present scientific data clearly and concisely. A good understanding of biostatistics, MS Office, and literature review, with a keen eye for synthesizing complex information, is also essential.

This role involves skilled digital content development to enhance scientific publications and support medical communications. Experience in organizing and contributing to congresses and advisory board meetings is highly valued.
