High-Performance Backend Software Engineer

We are currently seeking a skilled Backend Developer to play a pivotal role in designing and implementing high-performance, scalable, and secure backend applications in a microservices environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain robust backend systems using Java 8/21 and Spring Boot
  • Design and build customized RESTful APIs leveraging core Spring Boot modules
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
  • Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and security
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and bottlenecks
  • Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong programming expertise in Java 8/21
  • Proven experience with the Spring Boot framework
  • Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and web services
  • Working knowledge of SQL/MySQL and relational database concepts
  • Basic understanding of Docker and Kubernetes in a DevOps environment
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
  • Exposure to cloud platforms, particularly AWS
  • Familiarity with Angular or other front-end frameworks is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, especially EKS on AWS
  • Understanding of secure coding practices and authentication/authorization strategies
