Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Content Developer to create engaging and informative content for our YouTube channel.

About the Role:

This role involves conceptualizing, scripting, and producing high-quality video content that resonates with our audience and promotes brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conceptualize and pitch original video ideas that align with our brand's niche and target audience.
  2. Craft compelling scripts that combine storytelling, education, and entertainment - optimized for viewer retention.
  3. Oversee the production process from ideation to execution, including scripting, filming, editing, and publishing.
  4. Coordinate with editors, designers, voiceover artists, and other collaborators to ensure timely and high-quality video delivery.
  5. Optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails for maximum visibility.
  6. Track video metrics and retention analytics, making data-driven decisions to improve future content.

Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years of experience in video content creation or digital storytelling, preferably for YouTube.
  2. Strong scriptwriting and storytelling skills.
  3. Deep understanding of YouTube's algorithm, SEO, analytics, and audience psychology.
  4. Hands-on experience with video production (camera work, editing knowledge, lighting, audio) is a plus.
  5. Familiarity with tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Notion, Frame.io, etc.
  6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and iterative environment.

Bonus Points If You:

  1. Have your own successful YouTube channel or have scaled one for a brand/creator.
  2. Can wear multiple hats - from scripting to filming to editing.
  3. Have experience working with influencer/content creator teams.
  4. Understand virality, trend cycles, and online culture.
