System Developer for Large Enterprise Environment

We are seeking a highly skilled System Developer with extensive experience in IBM iSeries system development, preferably in large-scale enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application design, development, and testing, as well as expertise in DB2 for iSeries (SQL optimization, stored procedures, data modeling), and solid understanding of iSeries operating systems (OS/400) and system tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and test complex applications using IBM iSeries RPGLE, CLLE programming, and ILE (Integrated Language Environment)
  • Develop and implement robust database solutions using DB2 for iSeries (SQL optimization, stored procedures, data modeling)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate system components and ensure seamless functionality
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improvement

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • University graduate with a degree in IT or related discipline
  • Minimum 10+ years' hands-on experience in IBM iSeries system development
  • Expertise in IBM iSeries RPGLE, CLLE programming, and ILE (Integrated Language Environment)
  • Proficiency in DB2 for iSeries (SQL optimization, stored procedures, data modeling)
  • Strong understanding of iSeries operating systems (OS/400) and system tools
