Cardiology Professor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiology Professor to join our esteemed academic team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lectures, seminars, and case-based sessions on cardiovascular medicine and pharmacotherapy. They will also conduct and publish research in areas such as cardiovascular pharmacology and therapeutics, epidemiology of heart diseases, and clinical trials of cardiovascular drugs or interventions.

Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students about cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology of heart diseases, and diagnostic tools such as ECG interpretation and echocardiography.
  • Supervise clinical case discussions, ward rounds, and student projects.
  • Prepare and evaluate course materials, assessments, and examination papers.
  • Mentor students in academic and career development.
  • Conduct research in cardiovascular sciences and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Collaborate with cardiology departments in teaching hospitals for practical training.
Requirements
  • MBBS with MD/DNB in Cardiology or Internal Medicine.
  • OR M.Pharm/Pharm.D with specialization in Cardiovascular Pharmacology.
  • PhD in Cardiovascular Sciences or related fields (desirable).
  • Experience in teaching and clinical supervision.
  • Publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Skills & Competencies
  • Deep knowledge of cardiovascular medicine and pharmacotherapy.
  • Strong teaching, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to engage in interdisciplinary research.
  • Competence with diagnostic software, simulation tools, and digital learning platforms.
  • Ethical and professional conduct in clinical/academic settings.
