Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and analytical individual to join our team as a Research Development Associate. This exciting opportunity offers excellent exposure to diverse development sector projects, including research, monitoring & evaluation, digital solutions, and policy analysis across domains like education, health, environment, and rural development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct primary and secondary research for baseline-endline studies
  • Support policy analysis and research publication development
  • Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preliminary analysis
  • Prepare research briefs and summary reports
  • Support needs assessment studies and impact evaluations
Data Management & Visualization:
  • Assist in survey design and data collection tool development
  • Help maintain project databases and documentation
Content Development & Social Media Support:
  • Assist in creating information, education, and communication (IEC) materials, including booklets, toolkits, and educational content
  • Support script development for awareness content
  • Help in documenting success stories and case studies
  • Create engaging social media content for various platforms
  • Assist in social media posting and community engagement activities
  • Support development of visual content and infographics for various platforms
Project Support:
  • Provide research support to senior team members
  • Assist in client presentation preparation
  • Support field survey coordination and data collection
  • Help in project documentation and reporting

Educational Background: A Master's degree in Development Studies, Economics, Statistics, Public Policy, Social Sciences, MSW, MBA (Rural Management), or a related field is required. Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis) and strong analytical and quantitative skills are essential. Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi & Odia are required. Clear understanding and fluency in Odia language (reading/writing/speaking) is necessary. Basic knowledge of social media platforms and content creation tools is preferred.
