As a Tax Analyst, you will be part of a team responsible for analyzing technical characteristics of products and assigning proper export and import classifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review product properties, assign HTS and ECN numbers based on Harmonized Tariff Schedule, and provide classification numbers for various countries
  • Manage client assignments, execute key processes, and communicate with clients regarding product information and classification status
  • Maintain a deep understanding of client products, make informed decisions in complex areas, and demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Tech Skills Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in chemistry, biology, chemical engineering, or related field
  • Experience in biotechnology, medical technology, or pharmaceutical industries where understanding technical aspects of products is essential
  • Proficiency in MS Windows, word processing, database, and spreadsheet software
  • Familiarity with Harmonized Tariff System, Export Control classification knowledge, and regulatory analysis
