Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Acquia Drupal Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development squad, you will play a vital role in designing and delivering complex Drupal-based websites and applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop custom modules and themes to extend Drupal's functionality and enhance user experience.
  • Integrate Drupal with other systems using RESTful APIs and web services to streamline data exchange and workflow.
  • Evaluate and implement code quality and maintainability best practices to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues efficiently, utilizing debugging skills and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage the Acquia platform for streamlined development and deployment processes.
  • Configure and optimize Acquia Cloud environments to ensure high-performance and secure infrastructure.
  • Leverage Acquia Site Studio and UI Kits to accelerate development and improve site design.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate builds and deployments, ensuring efficient delivery of projects.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to foster growth and expertise within the team.
  • Conduct code reviews and offer constructive feedback to promote excellence in coding standards and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Drupal development, with a strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Expert knowledge of Drupal 8 and 9, with experience in using Drupal modules and APIs to extend functionality.
  • Familiarity with Drupal theming and front-end frameworks, including Twig and Bootstrap, to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
  • A strong understanding of web security best practices to ensure robust protection against potential threats.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git, to manage code repositories and track changes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools to streamline development and deployment processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
