Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable database solutions
  • Develop and maintain high-quality database infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security
  • Participate in the migration of databases to the cloud, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption
  • Design and implement data models, ensuring data integrity and consistency
  • Develop and maintain database tools and automation scripts, improving efficiency and reducing manual errors

Scope of Impact/Influence

  • Responsible for the design, build, and maintenance of our cloud database infrastructure
  • Lead the development of database solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and technical standards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize database projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives

Education & Technology Core Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in database development, with a focus on cloud-based solutions
  • Hands-on experience with NoSQL and RDBMS databases, including AWS, GCP, and Azure
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, database architecture, and data modeling
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
