We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Terra TCC, a Technology & Sustainability company. The successful candidate will be placed at any of our Client's location in Gurugram, Haryana and is required to work full-time.

The estimated salary for this role is ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum based on industry standards and the location of the job.

About the Role

As a Data Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and PySpark to support data analytics and business intelligence needs. You will also develop, implement, and optimize ETL processes to gather, process, and transform raw data from multiple sources.

Your key responsibilities will include ensuring data quality and consistency through data validation, cleansing, and monitoring. Additionally, you will manage and optimize databases, data storage, and data warehousing solutions.

You will also develop data integration solutions and ensure data security and compliance with regulatory standards. Furthermore, you will document processes, procedures, and data definitions to maintain a comprehensive data architecture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in data engineering, with a solid understanding of ETL frameworks, data integration, and data architecture.
  • Proficiency in Python and PySpark for data processing, along with SQL for querying and data manipulation.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud data services (e.g., AWS) and familiarity with cloud-based data engineering tools.
  • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools (e.g., Apache Airflow).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) and experience in optimizing data retrieval.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data quality and integrity.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
