Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the end-to-end operations of wire drawing, pickling and patenting units.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and Execute Production: Plan, schedule and monitor daily production to meet delivery and quality targets.
  • Process Improvements: Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Operational Efficiency: Manage operational costs, reduce wastage and optimize resource utilization.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor and monitor the shop-floor team for performance and productivity.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate with maintenance, quality and supply chain teams for smooth workflow.
  • Safety and Compliance: Enforce strict compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of wire drawing, pickling and patenting operations.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership, team-handling and problem-solving skills.
  • Process Optimization: Hands-on exposure to process optimization, productivity improvement and cost control.
  • Time Management: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
