Job Description

The Senior Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex software systems. They will have deep expertise in modern programming languages (ES6+) and Node.js.

The engineer must understand how to design for scalability, handle different authentication methods, and manage various HTTP headers and response codes effectively.

They will have a strong understanding of both GraphQL and REST APIs. The candidate needs to be skilled in integrating disparate services, handling potential failures, and managing data consistency between them. Experience with microservices and system integration is highly beneficial.

The engineer will also work on cloud services such as AWS and Salesforce integration. They will need to communicate with the Enterprise Transformation Team and other service owners to manage dependencies and evolve the system.
