Backend Engineer Position

We're seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, high-performance applications using Python (Django) & NodeJS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python (Django) & NodeJS
  • Design and optimize APIs for seamless frontend-backend integration
  • Work with the frontend team to ensure a smooth web application experience
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
  • Manage databases, caching strategies, and cloud infrastructure
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth project execution

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of backend development experience with a strong foundation in Python (Django) and NodeJS
  • Expertise in designing RESTful & GraphQL APIs
  • Hands-on experience with NodeJS & React for full-stack development
  • Strong knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture, authentication, and security best practices
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency in version control (Git) and Agile methodologies

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with WebSockets, real-time data processing, or event-driven architecture
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and serverless computing
