Senior Indirect Tax Specialist

This position oversees all indirect tax related matters, including VAT, CST & GST assessments/appeals and compliances.
Key Responsibilities- Manage data collation, team collaboration, providing clarifications to consultants, strategizing tax responses, and reviewing tax submissions for VAT, CST & GST tax assessments/appeals.
- Collate data for tax compliances, provide clarifications to consultants, ensure timely payment of taxes and filing of returns, and support in preparing and filing monthly, quarterly, and annual VAT, CST & GST returns.
- Support team on other tax projects for tax optimization on a need basis.
- Chartered Accountant with 1-2 years' post-qualification experience in managing indirect taxes related matters of clients in Big 4s/large consulting firms or employed with a large Indian corporate house and responsible for its indirect tax related matters.
- Strong indirect tax knowledge, hands-on ERP systems (SAP S/4 Hana), and MS Office skills.
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills, fluency in English, and exposure to a multinational environment.
- Mindset to implement best tax practices and bring efficiencies from tax across functions.
- High energy, solution-oriented, positive attitude, ownership to complete projects, fast-mover, quick to adapt, flexibility, and resilience in a fast-moving environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of integrity and compliance, be able to work independently, and drive projects end-to-end. They should have a love for their job and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
