Senior Business Intelligence Developer Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Intelligence Developer to lead the development of large-scale business solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence, excellent technical skills, and exceptional leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and actionable insights.
  • Gather and translate requirements into optimized business intelligence datasets, reports, and dashboards.
  • Define and maintain business intelligence data models aligned with enterprise architecture and global standards.
  • Implement governance standards to ensure data quality, compliance, and consistency.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering Modeling teams for semantic consistency and reusability of datasets.
  • Optimize reports and dashboards for performance in large-scale, high-volume environments.
  • Apply DevOps practices, including Git and Bitbucket, for version control and release management.
  • Mentor and review the work of Junior Business Intelligence developers.
  • Ensure business intelligence solutions adhere to data security, RBAC, and privacy standards.
  • Leverage ETL/ELT tools, such as Matillion, to manage and optimize data pipelines.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including metadata, lineage, and user guides.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of business intelligence development experience, with 3 years in a senior lead role.
  • Strong expertise in Power BI, with additional experience with Tableau preferred.
  • Experience delivering large-scale business intelligence solutions for large datasets and multiple business units.
  • Advanced SQL skills, with query optimization experience.
  • Proficiency in data modeling principles, including Dimensional, Data Vault, and Semantic Layer.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake and its features, streams, tasks, and dynamic tables.
  • Experience integrating business intelligence with ETL/ELT pipelines, including Matillion, DBT, Talend, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Understanding of business intelligence governance, metadata management, and lineage tools.
  • DevOps experience with Git and Bitbucket.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to lead workshops and solution walkthroughs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills.
