Job Description:

Manage the transportation service provider services for the shipment of components and machines domestically and overseas.

As a Transportation Logistics Expert, you will be responsible to manage end-to-end import and export logistics and ground transportation operations to ensure timely delivery of material for smooth production. Ensure adherence to customs compliance, trade regulations, and corporate policies by working effectively with appropriate functional areas to maintain a high-velocity material flow.

Accountable for velocity and visibility of international inbound and outbound ground transportation. Set measure KPI for various service providers and initiate corrective actions to achieve targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scope, design, operate, and day-to-day services and implement transportation service solutions.
  • Coordinate problem resolution with facilities and approved service providers regarding transportation services.
  • Identify, develop, and administer the implementation of improved transportation methods that support cost and service objectives and goals.
  • Manage performance of these service providers through key performance indicators to meet cost and service performance expectations from facilities, suppliers, and distribution centers.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in supply chain or logistics stream.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Minimum 8 to 10 years of responsible import/export job experience.

Experience in supply chain, logistics, or transportation management.

Working understanding of materials systems and their interrelation.

Capable of working and communicating with various company levels and supplier personnel.
