Database Developer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced database developer to join our team. As a key member of our database development group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting complex database applications using Oracle PL/SQL.

Job Summary:

This role involves the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance database applications. The successful candidate will have excellent technical expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and database design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain high-performance PL/SQL code for database applications
  • Tune and optimize database performance to meet business requirements
  • Participate in coding and enhancements to existing applications
  • Design and implement data models to support business intelligence initiatives
Requirements:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:

  • Familiarity with database management tools such as TOAD, SQL Developer, and PL/SQL Developer
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in database development, with a strong background in Oracle PL/SQL and database design
