Our organization seeks a skilled SAP ABAP Developer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting SAP applications using ABAP programming.

Key Responsibilities
  • We are looking for a developer who can create and maintain RFCs, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Frameworks.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working on interfaces (IDOC, ALE, OData, Web services) for integration with other systems.
  • They should also be able to optimize existing ABAP programs for performance and efficiency.
  • Collaboration with functional consultants (MM, SD, FICO, HR, etc.) is essential to provide technical solutions.
  • Code reviews, debugging, and root cause analysis for production issues are also important tasks.
  • Ensuring compliance with SAP coding standards and best practices is crucial.
  • Mentoring junior developers and providing knowledge-sharing sessions is also an essential responsibility of this role.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development is required.
  • Strong knowledge of ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary, and Performance Tuning is necessary.
  • Expertise in Reports, Module Pool, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancements is also required.
  • Hands-on experience with SmartForms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms is desirable.
  • Good exposure to IDOC, ALE, OData, RFC, and Web services is necessary.
  • Experience working across multiple SAP modules (MM, SD, FICO, HR) is required.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams is necessary.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with SAP HANA, CDS Views, and AMDP is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Fiori/UI5 integration with ABAP services is also desirable.
  • Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, Change Management, and CTS+ is beneficial.
  • Exposure to retail industry-specific SAP processes is a bonus.
