Job Description

Our organization seeks an experienced L3 Application Support Engineer to provide top-level support for our software applications and integrations. The successful candidate will address complex technical issues, collaborate with development teams, and ensure system stability and reliability.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a minimum of 6+ years of experience in Product support or Application support. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential to resolve complex issues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling escalations from L2 support teams
  • Performing root cause analysis and providing permanent fixes for recurring issues
  • Collaborating with development teams, DB teams, and performance engineering teams to optimize solutions
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in Product support or Application support
  • Strong SQL and Unix scripting skills
  • Experience with debugging stored procedures and writing queries
  • Unix troubleshooting and server-level basic troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Good experience with job scheduling tools – Control M/Autosys
