Advanced Data Analyst Job

This position requires a highly skilled professional to drive data-driven decision-making through the design and implementation of advanced statistical models.

  • Collaborate with product design and engineering teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions that meet business goals.
  • Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement statistical and machine learning algorithms to address complex business challenges.
  • IDentify, diagnose, and resolve issues in data pipelines and production systems to ensure seamless operation.
  • Communicate findings to stakeholders through clear and effective data visualizations and reports.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of statistical methodologies, mathematical optimization, and machine learning. Strong development skills in Python are required.

Requirements:

  • Master's or PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics or a related STEM field.
  • Deep knowledge of statistical inference, vector calculus, linear algebra, and classical machine learning (especially decision trees, PCA, PLS, and Bayesian statistics).
  • 3+ years of experience in data science or machine learning environments that require the combined application of statistical and technical skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex statistical concepts into practical business applications.
  • A collaborative team player with hands-on experience in an agile development environment.
