Backend Software Engineer for Scalable APIs

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable APIs and backend services that support our cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop RESTful APIs using Spring Boot framework
  • Manage MongoDB databases ensuring high performance and scalability
  • Work with OSS 2 and Apigee platforms to build and manage API gateways and integrations
  • Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend services for performance and reliability
  • Evaluate security best practices in API development and data management
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with MongoDB database design and management
  • Proficient in developing APIs using Spring Boot
  • Hands-on experience with OSS 2 platform
  • Experience working with Apigee API management platform
  • Familiarity with AWS services and cloud deployment
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles
  • Knowledge of security standards and best practices in API development
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment
