Eaton Supplier Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities:
As a Supplier Quality Manager at Eaton, you will be responsible for supplier performance management activities, including DMR, DPPM, Raw Material Incidence, New supplier qualification and supplier development, and Annual SSA/QPA Audit.
Additionally, you will provide Supplier management tools training and mentoring to the suppliers, which includes SSA, QPA, PPAP, EQMS, and SEM.
You will work in cross-functional teams including the supplier and plants to drive continuous improvement, deploying common and standardized approaches throughout the division to drive supplier performance results and improvement.
You will also work as an SQE champion with PRO Launch NPD/STP to conduct supplier PPAPs, and perform collecting and reporting of supplier performance metrics, including monitoring, trending, and analysis. You will evaluate results and create improvement strategies and action plans to close gaps and achieve organizational goals.
Moreover, you will focus on supplier performance management and improvement, and supplier problem-solving and continuous improvements.
Requirements:
You must have a college or university degree in Engineering or a related technical field, and at least 3-5 years of working experience in supplier quality management within a manufacturing industry.
You must have practical knowledge of quality tools, including statistical methods used to analyze and control process, variations, capability studies, Gage R&R's, Control Planning, and PFMEA. You must also have hands-on experience with supplier APQP and PPAP process, knowledge of manufacturing of commodity responsible for, skilled in supplier audit, and demonstrate understanding of CQE body of knowledge. Additionally, you must be knowledgeable in 7 QC tools and 8D report.
Furthermore, you must have strong communication and presentation skills, be efficient and transparent, have good analytical and technical skills, good interpersonal and communication skills, and result-driven and get things done. You must also have strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
