Key Data Engineer Role

We are looking for a highly skilled data professional to design, build, and maintain robust data systems.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality data systems that power analytics, insights, and informed decision-making.

As a data engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing complex data pipelines and ETL workflows.
  • Building and managing large-scale data architectures and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Ensuring data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and governance across the organization.
  • Working closely with analytics and engineering teams to understand data needs and requirements.
  • Optimizing performance of data systems, queries, and storage solutions.
  • Implementing data quality monitoring and alerting systems to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation for data workflows and schemas.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a data engineer or in a similar data infrastructure role.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Proficient in SQL and experienced with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
  • Experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or Flink.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with modern data warehousing tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow, Luigi, or Prefect.
  • Understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance practices (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
